City park “Ernest Hemingway”
he verdant city park is named after the renowned American writer Ernest Hemingway, who lived in Friuli Venezia-Giulia and visited Lignano. The park is equipped with playgrounds for children and offers its visitors many walking paths surrounded by its lush greenery. In the summertime, the park hosts several events and becomes the main venue of the international literary prize dedicated to Hemingway. It also hosts the event that marks the beginning of summer for all the locals, Lignano in Fiore.
